97 vs gearbox High rpms?
G'day guys I have a 97 vs and have noticed that when it changes from first to second ( Its a automatic by the way ) it will change at about 3000 to 3500 I was wondering if that is a little high it doesn't do it all the time and just seems a little odd I had it flushed and service early last year any help to figure out what's up will be much appreciated

Change points will vary according to engine temperature - changes later when cold....economy or power setting - power setting changes later. How far you have the throttle open naturally.
May pay to check fluid level as well - if full and pink then OK....if brown/burnt then not OK....also could just be something in the valve body sticking....or the transmission getting old and worn.
