Vs v6.. .. throttle problem?

Hey guys
each time i put my leg on the peddal and accelerate really hard the car is taking to long to respond. by then the little honda would of left me behind is that meant to be happening? or all vs v6 are like that
would a CAI help me out with better throttle response? maybe something else extracotrs?

how dirty is in and around your throttle body? maybe give them a clean
air filter ?
spark plugs spark plug leads if there old you should change them

Usually you put your foot on the accelerator maybe that's why it's taking so long.

BTW what's the service history, checked for fault codes?

the spark plugs are new, i need to check for the leads and il check the throttle body
also il be getting a new mace racing filter soon hopefuly
and i havent checked for codes
