    Default Vs Calais 5.0ltr. Need help with diagnosing problems.

    When I drive for longer than 20mins the centre section of the dash heats up. The longer I drive the hotter it gets. When sitting in drivers seat it feels like the heater is on and it's not.

    The seatbelt light on the dash flickers and comes on at random times.

    Not sure bout ur seat belt light, but hot center console sounds like your heater tap is k-put. Try replacing that.

    Thanks. That's what I thort the problem might be. Couldnt understand why it was still blowing cold air. Can you still get new heater taps or just go to wreckers.

    As for the other problem I have no idea. It's the small orange light beside the srs airbag light. The only other possible related problems I can see is the dash light behind the temp gauge will go out some times and the same with the climate control illumination for the screen. Any ideas or people with similar problems?

    Heater taps can still be bought new, i think you can even get them on ebay. Getting a second handy from the wreckers may just see you with another bypassing heater tap.

    Battery is starting to slowly die
    If it's not a Symptom its not relevant, and if its not relevant I don't care!
