    Default removing spoiler

    g'day,
I have just been looking at my vs lately and deciding i really
dont like the spoiler thats on it lol, (a clubsport one and its
only an executive), so i was curious at how to take them off
and the holes or something it will leave and how i can get rid
of them without buying a new boot or putting anything ugly on it/

ALSO on a side note does anyone know where i can get and how
much the smokey lights are? they look like the standed ones but
    a much nicer colour.

The spoiler should be held on by phillips head self tappers visible from under the bootlid. No easy way to fill the holes and avoid a respray.

so i guess the only cheap/easy way is to get another boot lid without a spoiler?
damn well that sorta bursts my bubble as money is a bit of an issue being at school
and only having a part time job >.<

either that...or drive around with holes in your boot lid....or put filler in the holes and wait till you have the cash....I would leave it for now

I paid $120 for my bootlid when I went down this path, way better and cheaper then getting the holes filled and sprayed.

There are these sorts of grommets you can buy that you could put in the holes, pretty sure either repco, supercheap or autobahn sell them ay.

And with the lights try on eBay mate.

VHRickster, i cant leave holes because there is a sub and amp and the holes are right where it is so if it rains i would be f*****

jr689, where did you get a bootlid, was it just a wreckers? and the grommets are they just little things that go into the holes or like
massively noticeable things you see on lancers and stuff when they have had the spoilers taken off?

    thanks for the help

I got it from this bloke who had his own DIY (if you'd like to call it that ha) wrecking business on his property. He was wrecking a few cars on ebay and I just hit him up and sure enough he had what I wanted. To get something filled and sprayed I'd say you'd be looking at $500+ so it's definitely not worth it if you can find a boot lid in your colour.

And yepp it's those ugly things every second ricer has stuck in his boot lid... They don't seem to sit very flush.

I was driving around with white electrical tape on my boot for a good month, didn't look bad from a distance but that's cause my car is obviously white and a flat white at that. If it were a metallic colour it'd definitely stand out.
