Default Swapped engines, new engine hunts

    Hi all

As described I have installed another engine into a statesman. Used same engine harness. Now the engine hunts( revs 2k then down to 500 and so on) the engine codes are air flow sensor and air temp sensor. I have changed these from donor car, I have swapped ECUs. Nothing works. Is there anything else i can try? Both engines were running fine before swap - no idle issues
I have checked all emission wiring and hoses everything is connected.

    Cheers
    Doc

You said it's giving codes for the air flow & temp sensors? Double check the wiring for those areas, maybe swap it or the sensors with stuff from the old engine.

I have checked all hoses and connections. Tested the wiring fo the air flow. Its showing 6 volts so I think that's acceptable.
