Default Vs cold air intake not sure what i got

    Hey guys
    I got a vs v6 berlina
the cold air intake is a normal box but inside it is a flat k&n filter (i think)
all i know is it's flat
anyway are the flat ones better then the round filters?
    thanks

you have a KnN panel filter, same shape as your stock one? yes they are better than a pod filter (round one) they are also legal, whereas a pod filter that is exposed is illegal and just sucks in hot air from your engine bay anyway, do a search for the 2 hole mod, thats your best option for a CAI
Going where no late model stato/caprice has gone before.... GAME ON!!

If there is a big black intake looking thing sitting on top of the radiator, then you have a cold air intake, if not, then it is just a K&N panel filter in the stock air box set up.
