Hi everyone, just had a mechanic look under my car at suspension, etc, and found that an engine mount i replaced a year and half ago has broken the pin on it.
Its a kelpro mount, with 2 year warranty.
How do I go about getting a replacement, and will they pay for labour?
Thanks in advance.
Your best bet would be to get in touch with the people who you got the engine mount off. They would be able to route you to the right people to deal with your issues.

I wish you luck - first you need to prove it was installed professionally by a licensed mechanic and that it's failure was not due to another component failing. But you never know your luck. You must have the original docket for the engine mount and then take the mount and your receipt back to where you bought it from. They may also ask for your speedo readings before/after failure just to make it difficult.
However, you may strike a friendly face behind the counter who says"no problems" and gives you a replacement with no further questions asked. I would doubt very much that they would pay for the labour to replace it but again, you never know your luck. May pay to contact Kelpro direct.
Good Luck.

they might replace the mount, it will have to be removed and sent to them most likely. they wont pay for labour. dont expect a direct replacement there and then, you'll just embarrass yourself.
Bloody hell, don't be so cheap and go get another one.... It's a bloody engine mount and if you got you're cousin to install it and he isn't fully qualified then this thread is just a big fail.
If it's not a Symptom its not relevant, and if its not relevant I don't care!
Obviously if its a dud, i do want it replaced for nothing!
I dont know the quality of kelpro mounts, but i know most shops use them. In my case though, in one year, one has broken its pin, and the other has sagged a fair way.
I guess this can be a warning to all to maybe go genuine on mounts and not rely on aftermarket ones.
Exactly the point I'm making. If you have already had 2 engine mounts from the same company stuff up on you in 1 year, then it's pointless in getting them replaced for nothing. That's why you're better off swallowing you're pride and just go get 2 new ones from Holden.
If it's not a Symptom its not relevant, and if its not relevant I don't care!
Unfortunately Kelpro is pretty much the only one doing engine mounts & I would avoid them especially any useing non rubber items as they transmit too much vibration through the car & break. You would need an original reciept & warranty would be for 12 months so if you get something your lucky
