Hey guy
Yesterday i took of my vs engine cover and the top of the engine is so dirty
anyway to make it shine? i tryed degreasers but fail...
there is an aluminium polisher/cleaner.. not sure about brands.. put it on with a brush. dont get it on the paint. i havent tried it but it was recomened to me.
Thanks for the reply
See if i can get something like that from supercheap tomarrows
If your going to leave the engine cover off permanently then you can take the plenum lid off (aka top of engine) via the allen key bolts and polish it with an orbital polisher and metal polish. Sand it lightly first and then use the polisher - you could do it by hand but it would take a while.
Otherwise if your going to put the engine cover back on, just leave it, it's only going to get dirty again...and you can't see it.

Does it make a differnce to performance if the engine cover is on/of?
Nope - just how it looks, wont effect anything else man.
