Default VS front quarter panels replaced with VE quarter panels

    Hi

I was offered VE front quarter panels and was going to change the lights also.

Does the VE front panels fit a VS?

It's not going to bolt straight up if thats what your getting at no. Anything can be done with enough cash thrown at it though.

But the main question is...why would you?

I was offered the VE monaro lights and loved them but they don't fit. So it was suggested I change the quarter panels. If I could get the Angel eyes headlights i would be very happy.

Unlikely that the lights would fit without new bonnet, front bar and heaps of other work. I haven't and wouldn't look into it either! too expensive.

    EDIT - What VE Monaro?

You got no chance of fitting the lights without spending heaps.

Seats can be done. They would be a squeeze and involve hooking up the electrics as well as altering the current rails or swapping rails over. They are in the for sale section for $1500ono.

Forget the lights its not going to happen. Put some more modern aftermarket ones on for now like the ones on my berlina, and just wait till someone starts making angel eyes for a VS.. just a matter of time.

No point in trying to put VE guards on either. Cost a mint and look terrible. You could have VE indicator inserts grafted into your existing guards though for a VE-ish look, and shouldn't break the bank either.

No and not even close. Front overhangs of the VE are a heap shorter than the other models, not to mention heights, bonnet rake and wheel arch radius. If your guards are stuffed go get a correct pair off ebay - can't cost more than $20 each at the most.

I've seen a VZ with the ve flutes, i think it looks nice, not sure how it would match up with a vs, one being curved the other being square.
