don't do it, every car i have had on gas a ran shit house.
If you do get it done get a flash lube system on it (only 70-80 dollars).
Why did you keep getting cars with LPG then champ?
Every car I've had it on it's ran great (both my parents cars and mine = 3 cars)!!! Make sure you service the car regularly particularly in terms of spark plugs and leads (change these as soon as you get it installed) as this is the life blood of any LPG system running good. Most of the time people that whinge about LPG being sh*t, it can be directly related to the ignition system running poorly and yea in terms of a flash lube system you may as well go for it as it's a sort of insurance I'd say, whether it works or not is a completely different matter altogether.
VX runs on gas great. Good cost savings and you have the added benefit of less engine wear particularly on cold start as the cylinders aren't washed of oil.
You also have the option of extending your oil change intervals which, unless you do these yourself, is another big saving. I would suggest that you monitor the state of your oil closely with perodic oil analysis. I use roktex.com.au for a free disposable sampling kit with sample postage paid to lab and resultant recommendations for under $30. I believe that oilcheck.com.au also provide a good service and there are a couple of others.
I smile every time a fill up!
Agree with the above - Petrol here is $1.39.....gas is 65c. Who wouldn't want to cut their fuel bill in half.

+1 for gas
if you can stretch the finances go the vapour injection, I have had it on my VS V6 since March last year and you would have trouble picking the difference in performance between petrol and LPG
My wife was not 100% sold on the idea but is a convert now, says it was best thing done to the car (she drives it 90% of the time anyway)
just my 2c woth)
