new exhaust

so im looking at getting a new 2.5inch redback exhaust which seem pretty popular my question is i want to fit either a cannon or some other tip than just having a pipe
im looking at this

my question is the second pipe in the picture with the writing directly under is the tail pipe, correct?
do i cut off how much is needed and attach the tip i want?

Yes, the muffler pipe is the centre section and the lone pipe is the tail section.

No cannon, just run a tip.

the tip you have should slide overthe top of the pipe? if the pip is to long ? yes you can cut it......1st you going to have to install it,then see if the pipe needs cutting...if it does youll have to mark it and take it all out to cut it to were you like it......................cheers
