Is vr-vs white paint the same

I need to change a front door on a vr commodore which is painted white, would a white door off a vs be the same shade of white?

Is a vr painted white called alpine or alaskin white and whats the vs white called?moki
i dont have the car to check paint codes.

i think they came in 3 whites alpine, alaskin and herron

Also holden changed the paint they used on the VS so VR's paint may be different again

Heron white on my '96 VS SS, also I used to have a white '94 VR SS and am sure the paint was different - on the VR I thought it was much whiter (and my VS ss has never lived outside like me VR did).

Easiest way to check it check your "Body & Option Plate" its under the bonnet on the left hand side at the back and will say what paint it is

J073 is Herron White. That's the colour of my 2001 WH Statesman.

That's Alaskan White in acrylic. It will be the same in early VS while later in VS went to 1JO64 which is nominally the same colour but in 2-pack when GMH upgraded their paint facility.

Not sure when Heron White was used.

mine is jo64 vr , like you said said seen a vs today in the wreckers ,early one 95 model still jo64 must of changed s2 onwards
