keep an eye on ebay and carpoint...i flew from melb to brisbane to get my maloo(look at pic in profile) last year (was a bargin)
that i couldnt resist,,,i flew into brizzy at 7am looked at the car, paid, went to qld rta and transfered it over then took it to a transport dep ready to be taking by train and truck down to melb(cost$339) then waited at brizzy airport for 3hrs for a flight home(tickets both ways were $148).was home at 8pm same night. 6 days later the maloo arrived.did the same with my other 1997 vs ute out of nsw(that ute i drove back to melb)so keep an eye on ebay and carpoint and best of luck in finding and hunting down what your after,,,best of luck and best of wishes,,,,,cheeers

to be honest ive lived in perth and the east coast and one thing i noticed was how overpriced cars were in WA, you would find a VS SS cheaper in the east coast and even after getting it freighted to Perth would proberly still work out cheaper

yeah i noticed that when i was looking at cars walesy.cheapest states ive found would be nsw 1 and brisbane qld number 2

My old ones on ebay at the moment, it needs a new power steering rack and a new clutch cable i think.

im looking at one on sat in perth for 13660 i told him no chance ill only come see it if he lowers the price too 10500 cos his only got a cam extrctors and exhaust and drop tank on it, so hopefull it will be mine

Tell me about it DM!!! just wrong. i rang that bloke back bout the vx i was talkin bout in the vt-vx forum but he sold it i rang around to know how much the aircon was goin to cost me too fix but yea he sold it and lost out! so yea this vs ss is in pretty good shape tho ill have a look, also im in love with a silver vx ss thats goin for 14000 but its a auto and i know if i buy it ill end up kickin myself cos its not manual

Mines an auto and I don't really mind, you can have a bit of fun with a huge cam and a hi stall. I'd go the VX mate, silver ones look awesome and you can't beat the LS1. Plus I think 10k is a bit steep for a VS 5ltr.

15???? for an ss VS ???? NOPE....HALF IT AND THATS WHAT ID PAY AT MOST (WITH LOW KM) 15K FOR A 5LTR SS NO HOPE
