hey guys, got clear aftermarket tail lights on my vs ute ( don't laugh ) and the right hand brake light doesnt work but the drive light does, assume its just the filament of the stop light that's blown, which means replacing the bulb, when i went into malZ to get a new bulb the dude asked whether or not the pins on the bulb are offset or normal? anyone know? fairly sure its the stock socket that the bulbs sit in so if someone can tell me whether the bulb is offset or normal, apparently something to do with the length of the pins. He also said that you cant get red bulbs with the normal pins and that i'd have to dye them red myself.. bullshit or not? cheers in advance![]()
Making a 4 cylinder fast is like telling everyone your gay. At first you might suprise a few people but in the end, you're still a fag.
Pull the globe out, if the pins are directly opposite then they are normal, however if on one side of the bulb the pin is closer then it is on the other side it's offset? Catch my drift lol. And yeah if you have clear tailights then im pretty sure you will need red globes, otherwise when you turn on your lights/brake it will just be white/yellow. They guy is on the money though. If in doubt just take your globe into them and they will have no worries matching it up
Yeah, just take the existing globe in and find one with the same part no.
