Yesterday i took my cluster out to put in blue LED's for my dash. (looks amazing). During the procces one of my indicator bulbs blew so i took out the cluster again put a new bulb in and that works. But NOW my speed needle wont move. I made sure the plug was in properly and no fuses are blow. Any idea on whats wrong?
Thanks in advance
Adam
Horsepower is how hard your hit the wall. Torque is how far you take the wall with you.
Could be a sensor,in my car the fuel guage sometimes doesnt work so I have to bang on the dash and then it works,an auto electrician told me it was a sensor.
You may need to perform the "Commodore Dash Slap" and it should start working again.
turns out that when i was removing and installing the cluster i broke one of the copper tracks on the back. whoops. I used tin foil and sticky tape to fix it. thanks for your ideas tho![]()

i think it a common vdo fault norm ends up being a lose solder with the bashing the dash to get it working all gauges in holdens ford toyota etc etc not just commodore
