VS Engine Shudder

Hey,

I've noticed that when my VS ex is cold (mainly), in 2nd gear over 2500 revs i get an engine shudder likes it not firing properly. also happens in 3 n 4. not in 1st

now im not sure what is causing this issue, was thinking leads or coil packs but thought that would do it all the time then, i know its not fuel because ive tried numerous different petrol stations for weeks now.

also ive noticed that the smell of the exhaust isnt normal.

anyone had simular issue?

i would check you engine mounts, is there an milky shit in the oil, and another could be your cat what does your exhaust smell like eggs?

Engine mounts are fine had them checked last service (<1000kms ago), oils not milky, slightly low she has been burning a bit of oil of late it comes on every now n then under heavy breaking with a decline.

kind of if its cold.

i would check your cat if you got a block you could be burning oil due to the excess pressure i guess

Check your trans mount, Could be collapsed. Upper control arms can cause a shuddering effect also under acceleration.
