I can only give you a rough step by step on how I did it, it was a while ago. Probably use a Gregorys just to be safe.
you need to remove all the shrouding off the column
I think you have to have the key in the 'ON' position
there is a little hole towards the back off the barrel that you need to push a round pin through, It was pretty hard to do.
then you can pull the barrel out.

i think you have to swap the remote heads over with your new one
as your new one is already cut so you dont have to code the barrel oh its you again ~! lol

well is the new barrel and key cut? (like a house key)
and the new key doesnt have the immobiliser knob on the edge where the blade is?
then the new key should have two screws like your old key which can be a pain to get undone
then swap your old remote head onto the new key blade

if you dont have the screws on your new key (or old key for that matter) then you have the wrong key set...

    Oh yeah I understand
Yeah it's cut but the issue is I think I have the wrong key set
The new key doesn't have the screws
U reckon if I take the barrel to an auto locksmith they can change the tumblers to my current key cut ?

considering you have already bought it,
i would try ringing burson's and checking the part number of the stuff the gave you first
to check if its right one but it doesnt sound like it is....

the problem is i think the different key sets have different shaped housings
im not sure of this though....
if there the same then you could have the tumblers replaced in the new one to suit your old key yes.

when i replaced my ignition barrel i just pulled both ignition barrels apart and swapped the tumbler key things from the broken barrel to the new barrel, this way you can still use your original key. its a bit fiddly and was a pain in the ass trying to get the new barrel back in.
