Default Quick question about manifold + plenum

Hey guys, the time of me getting my license back is fast approaching, and I'm pretty keen to do a little bit to my car to give it a little punch, nothing overboard but I'm not keen on the sluggish bottom end anymore.

I've been looking at getting a 12mm manifold spacer and also a 12mm plenum spacer. Are these good bang for buck modifications? Easy to install? Will I notice an actual gain in low down power? Also will my engine cover still fit over them once they're installed?

    Cheers, Matt.

engine cover barely fits on the 6 after both spacers fitted.
personally i think running premium and a cleaning intake out and performance air filter
are better money spent but ive been told those spacers feel better for tourque low
but when i drove it i could barely notice the difference, it was different but wether you would find it noticeable...
depends how well you know your car i suppose

Did it. Took it off. Sold it.

Made no noticeable difference and it looks very try-hard.

Ah really? that's a bit of a let down. Had a few people saying they were the bee's knees, apparently not though.

iv been told a plenum spacer wont do much at all, but the manifold insulator can do a little bit. but its all mainly for low end torque.
iv got a 12mm manifold insulator sitting n waitting to go in. once its on ill let you know wat i personally think.
    VZ SV6 now, Jelly?

i have 12mm plenum and 24mm manifold and to be honest i wish i bought a short shifter for my getrag gearbox.
made bugger all differance for the coin they cost.
buy some diff gears, apparintly they are the best value for money mod out. this is what i want to do next

Get some high lift roller rockers and a tune from one of the guys on the forums here, that would be your best bang for buck.

Better off with some Extractors, 2 and half inch exhaust.
If it's not a Symptom its not relevant, and if its not relevant I don't care!
