    Default is there a way to bypass the coil on a vs commodore?

    just want to know is there a way to by pass the coils if they are rooted? just brought a vs commy, i want to see if it starts but i think the coils have sh@t them selfs.. just want it to start to see if i brought a bomb

    If the car is hard to start pour about 2ltrs of water on the CAS and then if it does start its the CAS

    You can't bypass the coils... Perhaps tell us what it's doing? Is it going to start but not kicking over or is it not even doing that.

    its whinding over just wont fire up.. i was thinking its the coils coz there was no spark.. thou had trouble with the car alarm/emoblizer but i have disconnected it, ( seeing its all electrical thought that was the problem) now it just keeps whinding over, and doesnt sound like she wants to fire up

    But how would bypassing the coils help anything? No coils=No spark...

    cheers for that! the error code came back at 12 meaning everything is ok... now im bold lol ripping my hair out.. i took the sparkplug out and turned the key theres no spark at all.. so im guessing its the coils are f**ked

    I think you should take it to a mechanic, as it really sounds like you have no idea what you're doing.

    pulled there sparkplug out connected it with the lead held it on the body of the car while i turned the key

    How did you disconnect the immobilizer? It's built into the BCM. If there is no spark then yes either the DFI module or the Coil Packs (or both) are shot!
    If it's not a Symptom its not relevant, and if its not relevant I don't care!

    a guy from here told me about opening the alarm box and taking the key barrel out and turning it makes it turn off like its not there ( it worked ) now it turns over with the key and ill say sorry for the dumb question now but whats the DFI module ??

    Also if you want to learn yourself, best thing go and buy a gregories manual, everything is covered in there in detail.

    ahh ok no problem.. getting the coils DFI module and mounting bracket in the same package.. ill buy that manual aswell
