Default my vs has elec window problems

    hey guys
just wondering if anyone had this problem b4 when i go to put my drivers side window down u have to press the button 20 million times to get it down along with helping it down when pressing the button to go up it seems fine but its also like it losing power to the elec motors or something the drivers regulator has been replaced twice i also replaced the fuse thinking maybe it mite help but a fuse is just a fuse and the switches in the console have been replaced aswell

When you replaced it did you have the sector gears in the correct positioning? But like you said if it takes you alot of times pressing the switch for it to go down then it might be the switch wiring is shorting out

Well if you had a multimeter it would be easy,I was also thinking it could be that the fuse connection might be corroded. But you need to check both ends of the wire at the switch and at the regulator to see if it is broken or stripped

Might be a stripped gear mate or motor not getting enough power through it check the wire connections again by taking the door trim off then try openning the window and then you might actually see what the problem is

Ok the only other thing I can think of is that the switch contacts need to be cleaned as they might be dirty,so you need to take the switch off and take the contacts off and give them a good clean be careful not to drop them, they should have like 4 sections that you can use a screwdriver to pop it out.

if ur talking bout the switch in the console then thats a brand spanking new switch so theres no need to clean it
