BUT the car is no longer starting again, so im thinking i need new coils

Alrite so the car just started, i ran it for a while to warm it up, then turned it off and started it again. She isnt starting very smoothly and after reading through a few threads i came across this:

"Problem solved - it was the fuel pump
It wouldn't start spinning due to worn bearings when very cold.
    All good now"

I'm thinking mine is the same problem as it was cold last night and really bloody cold today.

    Opinions??

It could be a number of things either singular or a combination of.
    • Coils
    • Leads
    • Spark Plugs
    • Fuel Pump
    • Fuel Filter

etc etc etc. I doubt it's a worn bearing, as it's cranking but not firing so it's either a fuel delivery issue or spark/ignition issue.

    Check the above

Gonna say go with whatever Hama says as last time he picked out the problem with my VS straight away and mine was a Fuel pump but wouldn't turn over at all

    disconnect the fuel pump fuse.

remove all the spark plugs and earth them to something metal on the engine. ie intake manifold. while you crank the motor over. get someone to check to see if all the plugs are firing. its easy to see them spark at night, it should be small but bright blue.
