    Default 7hdd or 4l60e?

    has the 1997 vs v6 have the 4l60e tranny or the 7hdd i have conflicting stories or are they the same?

    The 7HDD is a 4L60E. Its a 1997 4L60E.

    awesome mate cheers. i had a leak in mine plled itr out replace the front seal and put it all back in guess what still leaks doing my head in

    The rear seal in the extension housing is a common leak.

    it is poring out the only thing i can think of is the converter has shat itself and leaking new front seal on the converter would stop and other leak progressing forward out of the box
