VS Berlina instrument cluster

Hey Guys.

I have a VS Berlina with the level 3 cluster. I took it out one day to change a blown globe, then put it all back together. Problem now is I don't think the cluster is sitting right because the 3 digital screens are half hidden behind the bottom of the dash facia. Took it all apart and can't see the problem. Same thing is wrong with my dads VR Statesman. It was sitting perfect before but now its like its too low.

Anyone else have this problem and/or know how to fix it?

I suppose just double check the four screws that hold cluster in are in correctly. One screw each side of cluster that screw into dash prior to fitting dash facia, and two screws that go in the top of cluster after dash facia is installed. Also check you haven't pinched the rubber strip that keeps dust out between steering wheel column cover, and dash. Lastly check all clips are in place on dash facia and pushed all the way into dash in their corresponding holes. Good luck!

Thanks for that. I have rechecked the 4 screws and they are fine. I even tried holding the cluster up with a screwdriver and tightening the screws at the same time and that helps a little bit but its still not right. The rubber strip is ok, I put that in last after I fitted the dash facia. I will have a look to see if all the clips are in like you said, on Saturday but if its not that then i'm not sure what else it would be.

Actually it could be a clip or something because lately I have noticed an annoying rattle coming from in the dash around the a/c vents area. Might take it apart again and have a look.
