so i got bored the other day and started to pull the motor apart for something to do
and after trying to work out why i have been losing water but couldn't find out were it was leaking from after seeing this it might have something to do with this?
in a couple of days if there sun comes out so i can work on the car this will be a different colour to this (once it's back together i will put up some new photo's)
while i have pulled heaps of stuff off and there is a bit more room to work in the engine bay im thinking of changing the spark plugs as i have had the car for a year and haven't changed them not good i no and same with the spark plug leads as they look really old and warn out to but i don't have a clue on witch ones i should get it is a VS duel fuel what do you think i should get
Mine is duel fuel as well and have noticed that using NGK spark plugs, after about 20,000kms the engine starts to backfire on gas. So I tried Bosch Platinum Spark Plugs and they have been in for 40-50,000kms and its still going strong. Normal leads should be alright, I spent a bit more and got msd leads new off ebay.

Inductive core ignition leads suit all applications whether it's LPG, Performance or Standard.

I got the high performance leads but that was for more power. If your not worried about power then just get the second one, sounds good and suits LPG.

They are excellent ignition prices darcycammo. "Supercheap" is selling them for around twice that price.

hey mate thinking of doing exactly what you have done to my ute, just wondering how difficult is was and what tools you used as i have a fair few tools( good quality spanners, and sockets,) but not specialised tools like a torque wrench and stuff like that
anyways the motor looks great and im sure you got a bit more performance and a smoother running engine out of it.
i got away with just the simple tools it took me just over an hour to pull apart as i have never done anything like this be for then i gave my self a day to clean everything then went to mitre 10 and got a can of metal spray paint $24 and a pack of gaskets $52 from and auto place and then i left them to dry all night in the shed then gave my self a day and a half to put back together as it was out in the rain so i could only go put and work on it for 5 minutes be for it started raining again but after all the gasket changing the car starts better on gas and the idle has dropped from 1500rmp to 750rpm and i think i might have fixed the leaking water that i could never find

after more working on it today i found where the water is going it doesn't matter what cap you put on the radiator it still seems to go into the hose to the water reserve tank i can squish the big hose going from the radiator to the thermostat and you can here the water going into the reserve tank should i replace the radiator or what ?
I'd try your radiator cap first
