Does it matter if i put a pod in and do i have to do anything with the sensors?
Mate the ECU needs all its sensors connected and working properly so it can control the engine correctly..It wont run half as good if any of the sensors are disconnected or are faulty..When a faulty sensor is detected by the ECU,the ECU uses a default value and it continues to use this default value instead of recieving real time info from the sensor.
I have seen POD adapters on eBay that allow you to use the pod filter and plug in the sensor.
My car had a pod on it when I got it, first thing I did was get rid of it and replace with a CAI and K&N filter.
Why a pod may I ask? OT yes the IAT sensor is important.
