Just got new struts and I will put them on this weekend. Do I need spring compressor as I have new springs as well and do the struts need to be torque wrench toghtened?
Thanks

Yes and yes....A workshop manual will list all the tensions for the various nuts and bolts etc..Its best to follow a manual anyway when doing these sorts of jobs as its easy to stuff it up,even if youve done it a heap of times..
for the front springs i say its best to have one, not really needed for the rear though.
Thanks... so to save me some cash seeing i have to buy the tools now and not the manual, does anyone know what the tension is on the struts?? for the upper and the lower?

Id buy the workshop manual and the tools, the manual is gonna save you heaps of money and headaches in the long run..
just an FYI to all... the torque setting for the struts are 70-80 nm....
Cheers

It depends on what bolts you are talking about, theres the steering knuckle to suspension bolts and nuts, theres the ball joint clamp bolt, theres the support plate nuts, and theres the suspension crossmember mounting nuts, and the suspension unit to support plate nuts....And they all tighten to different tensions...
