vs commodore is turning over but wont fire up, i pullled a plug out and eathed it on the body of the car and theres no spark, so i just brought a new coil pack and the mouldel ...
STILL theres no spark and its not firing up, so i have came up with 2 conclusions
1. its the spark plugs ( being my theroy is, i tighened up a spark plug and snapped the porcilin tip ( wasnt with much pressure) pulled the second plug and the porcilin tip is moving like its lose ) and there new!
2. its the battery, not enough power to produce a spark
can someone back my theroy(s) or am i not looking in the right place... cheers all
if there wasn't enough power in the battery then it wouldn't even be turning over what are the CCA(cold cranking amps) on the battery ?
For anyone thats having issues with a vs v6 cranking over but not firing up...... ive just changed the CAS coils and DFI fuses and relays.. to find she still wont start...
its the emmobliser! security on them stops the spark, but they still crank over.. lol $450 later that only a $12 key from supercheap auto could fix
awell it's always good to replace the parts
yeah sort of glad about knowing them parts are new but what a headache i was ripping hair out hey.
