Default 304 keeps stalling 2sec after i put the clutch in,please help

Recently my car picked up the issue of stalling a lot,i cant sit in the one spot for too long without having to tap the accelerater petal ever couple of seconds to stop it dying on me,gotta be quick when re-starting coz it dies once the rev's drop down again. I played with it on the way to work tonight and put the clutch in at 100ks and sure enough it died within a few sec. Its really becoming anoying coz i now have to the gear more then brakes to slow down.

All I can gather is the rev's are way too low at idle, but why im not sure,im thinking leads but sparkies, dizzy or ecu could be the reason behind it

Please can any1 heap me sort it.

Mate first thing to do is check your timing make sure its right. After that and issue still persist look at your IAC valve on your throttle body

Wouldn't hurt, but is unlikely to solve your problem. Easiest way is to remove the under-bonnet engine fuse for 10-15 secs. Have you checked to see if any trouble codes have been set?

Sound like IAC is stuck shut. Replace it. Its on the throttle body tucked under the inside edge. Though you may be able clean it up and free it up again.
