    Default battery drain

    my battery has 4A drain on it all interior light bulbs have been take out all fuses are out alternator and battery are in perfect condition all relays are pulled out. but drain is still there. is there any components in the car that are not fused. im thinking starter motor. car is 1994 vr commodore

    Aftermarket immobiliser or aftermarket head unit can cause drain.....if not these try disconnecting alternator as the diodes can fail and short to earth. It will not be starter motor.

    4A!! Thats like having one headlamp on.

    As above, the alternator. Try disconnecting it and retesting the drain.

    alternator is removed still have the drain its got me stuffed all fuses and relays pulled so cant be a lamp the only other thing with a live feed is the starter motor wondering if the solanoid is slightly routed

    If you suspect the starter solenoid check if it's warm....if stone mother-less cold then that ain't it. As per my previous post, have you checked if car has aftermarket immobiliser or head unit fitted? - sometimes people wire both straight from the battery unfused which makes it hard to track down.

    After market sound system? amp still on or electric antenna motor slowly burning.

    I had the same problem, turns out temp sensor was faulty and engine fan was staying on.

    call an auto elctrician, 2 collective minds are better then 1. call a few even.
