    Default fuses

    hey guys i was replacing fuses the other day and i noticed that there was a 7.5A fuse in a 15A socket its for the wipers and indicators on the vs but the funny thing is that the indicators and wipers work fine they arnt slow or stop working and also my interior light fuse keeps blowing out any ides why it keeps blowing a fuse its really annoying

    I'd replace the 7.5 with a 15 amp fuse - they are rated for overload, so unless you change it you may find it blows if the screen is dry when next you switch it on.
    Re the interior light - check the overhead unit - they short where the festoon bulb fits due to people trying to squeeze larger bulbs in.

    Looking at the VS wiring diagram in the workshop manual,it looks like the 7.5 amp fuse is meant to be in fuse number 13 which is for the audio system.Fuse 14 is for the wipers/washers and hazard lamps and BCM,it is a 15 amp fuse.Someone has got them mixed up probably as they are next to eachother..

    yeh i no iv never touched em must av been like that since previous owner lol
