    Default VS commodore supercharger uprgrade

    hey, i have a 96 VS commodore acclaim and am thinking about supercharging it. I have been offered a factory supercharger from another vs and am just wondering if anyone would know what needs to be added to the car along with the supercharger and roughly how much it would cost. Thanks

    Intake Manifold, throttle body, all the vacuum hose bits, u bend, fuel rails, tune, injectors (maybe fuel pump), Double row harmonic balancer, tensioner and pulleys come to mind. Im 99% sure you can keep the ecotec heads no worries

    Nope heads will need to be changed as the injecters fit directly in the heads not the inlet manifold like the NA ecotec, also compression maybe too high and you wont have the forged bottom end of a factory SC ecotec. Better off trying to get the complete motor, loom and ECU

    Correct heads will need to be changed. You're bottom end should be fine with just the factory supercharger, as I have heard of stories on here of people twin turbo their stock Ecotec motor, only lasted about 12 months I think before it needed a rebuild, so you should be fine with the factory supercharger.
    If it's not a Symptom its not relevant, and if its not relevant I don't care!
