Default vs commodore V6 NA to V6 supercharged factory

    hey everyone
just wanna find out how much stuffing around it would be to change to a supercharged V6 like what came out in the vt/vx is it just as easy as swaping the loom ecu and motor or is there more to it and would the auto trans fit up to em too?

If you wanted to use you're current Ecotec motor, you would need to change you're heads. But if you wanted to use the L67 motor then basically it's just a change over motor, ecu, loom and maybe the fuel pump (unsure) Everything else should be fine. Probably wouldn't hurt to do the big brake upgrade as well to handle the power, as the VR/VS brakes are pretty crap at the best of times.
If it's not a Symptom its not relevant, and if its not relevant I don't care!

brakes are the same 6 or 8 in vs. if the motor is from a vt/vx you will need to ad another temp sensor to the lower intake. if you dont already have the engine try and source a vs one as the vt tranny wiring is different and so is the ecu and bcm wiring. the vs system is much easier to use.

Easiest way is to retain the standard ecotec PCM & loom thats currently fitted - some small wiring extensions are needed for it to fit the L67. and get an L67 memcal to suit - either off Mace or someone on the forum that can program memcals. I've got a spare VS PCM thats been retuned for L67 if you need that will plug upto your standard ecotec loom.

Shouldnt need a trans, they should both be 4l60e just the l67 has a slightly higher rpm converter

They are both 4l60e but so is a VR gearbox. The VT gearbox will fit, but you will need to modify it so the exhaust flanges don't foul on it etc. Better off just using the VS one with a L67 Torque Converter (They are called a Torque Converter not a rpm converter lol)
