Default Just a quick question regarding VS statesman

ive had a look around at afew and mine seems to be the only one full leather interior... is this some kind of optional thing or could mine have been used a "limo" of some kind in the past... also where is this "hidden" cup holder i keep reading about in the forum??

    cheers

I now have a full leather vs series 2 and from what ive seen they seem to be thinner on the ground then the velour or partial leather. havent found any hidden cup holder i think someone maybe pulling ya leg.

And no i did not pay the price in the window pics are from previous owner in 2005 i belive but the trim is still in as good condition today a real credit to previous owner.

There is two cup holders in the centre console lid (if it is the big leather one) you have to unscrew the base off it to see it inside the actual lid. And part of the lid needs to be cut away to allow them to slide out

Mines full leather with stealthy cup holders. You gotta watch those cup holders tho. If your Stubby of Coopers Pale Ale is full and you slam it into the cup holder with too much force it can hit the power window switches

Cheers for putting the pics up, kinda silly spot right over the switches, that would be why they didn't implement them I reckon.

there was a thing with the cup holders they were going to be done but never finished with the bottem support on em as well the power window switches were going to be located in a differnt spot but never eventuated.
also another thing with the vr and vs that never happend was the front indicators orginally the were going to be next to the headlight same as the commodores and have the driving lights in the bumper like they are now and where the indicator is was going to be a turning spot light like in the wh or nl fairlane but that also never eventuated

Ha ha I was actually thinking of sticking normal vr/vs headlights in mine and turning the park light into an indicator then turning the indicators into driving lights to come on with the fog lights but i didn't get a chance to
