Hi all
me pwr steering rack is leaking like a sive
got it out atm to change it just wondering if the normal racks are the same size line joins to the varible speed if any one knows
The speed sensitive ones are different, they have a solenoid that restricts the flow of fluid as the speed of the vehicle increases to make the steering a bit heavier. I don't know about the line size, I think they are the same as there is no difference in power steering lines between standard and speed sensitive.
Pretty sure the pump is different too - check the link I posted today.
