Vs v6 keeps wearing out leads???

[Rodeo v6er]

I got a mate and his car keeps wearing out leads, what happens is when u put your foot Down it splutters and carries on, so we changed the leads, the it runs perfect for about 2-3 weeks then starts it over again, I'm starting to think it has something to do with the coilpacks, but don't know to much about these engines, is this a common problem???

You have any ideas on what it could be?

also could be the spark plugs, you should change em with the leads

He told me he took em out and inspected them said they were all good, but I might have a look he's not really gd wid engines

Its the coils and it could also be the module

Id also say its one (or more) of the 3 ignition coils misfiring under load.If the spark plugs havent been replaced,then do that first,then if its still no better,replace the 3 coils.These coils slowly loose their performane over time,so they should be replaced every few years anyway or you get crook performance and economy.They eventually die completely or start to cause misfiring when the engine is put under load.Try to only replace them with genuine holden coils,or a good brand coil like MSD..
