VS Speed Sensor Wiring

Hey guys, ive been trying to get my speedo working after my manual conversion and just want to know if the same process for VN to VR is the same in a VS. Ive tried a few times and i havnt been able to get it to work.

I have seen this done in the past.

Get a 40 pulse VSS which reads inductive (Wheel / cog) and has a Pulse output like your 4l60e auto had, keep the auto computer and plug the VSS back into the auto loom, remove the remainder of the auto wiring.

Insert a remapped memcal into your auto ecu which has been setup to run a getrag.

Worst case scenario you will also need a speedo corrector kit or you can muck around with various different sized cogs.
