Drive Belt

Finally got around to replacing my waterpump even done it myself but how do i get the belt back on. Do i tighten the water pump pulley all the way then work the belt on.There is obviousl a secret to this but i got no idea.Thanks.

there is a belt tensioner that you need to get a spanner or socket on

tighten up the pulley use a 15mm spanner or socket on the tensioner push down on it and run the belt the way it says in your hand book and gently release the tensioner and then check the pulley bolts are tight again and finally bleed the cooling system

Do you have the owners manual? If you do, it shows how to put the belt on in that manual....
