any difference between a vr 5L an a vs 5L motor an are any of them a 4bolt main cheers

vr and vs blocks are essentially the same however only late vr and vs blocks are clearanced for stroker cranks
early vr blocks are not

but yeah if your just talking the motors in stock form they essentially the same

and none are 4 bolt mains

any idea what year on for the vr blocks to fit stroker cranks in am i wasting my time with a vr block cheers

VS series 3 utes and stato had the VT motor which was clearanced for stroker cranks and I think it was 175kw

im unsure of when in the vr series the blocks were factory cleared for strokers. at the end of the day clearancing the block for the crank is an easy and little job if your thinking of building a stroker
