vs commodore cant fix help?
hey guys i need help
i have a vs commodore 95 5 speed has a idle problem but only when i put the accelerator down it idles high about 2000rpm for about ten seconds then goes back to normal. i have replaced the o2 sensors iac and tps sensor and cleaned out the throttle body checked all wiring seems to be ok. new spark plugs and new leads?????? any ideas anyone
only fault code that comes up is idle problems but doesnt tell me what the problem is
it idles fine by itself just not when i give it a rev.
maf sensor looks ok dont know how to test it

Cold start Injector could be coming on perhaps?

Check your throttle cable operation - spray with WD40....also check the cruise cable if fitted. May also be a sticky throttle flap in the throttle body. Is the car a factory manual or was it converted and if converted did you leave the auto ECU in?

Mate my ute does this as well, its a 5spd manual V6, but it stops after a couple of minutes once its warmed up, im thinking its to do with my cable as it has a few little broken parts on it
what to put here?
there is a little black grommet looking plug on your TB facing the front of the car, mine did the exact same thing (vs 5sp) this had come off somehow and was causing it to do what your describing

this is what the problem was with my vs caused by an lpg backfire at some stage
