Hi my vs is having trouble much the same as on of the other posts iv read were it try's to kick back into 3rd gear and then back to 4th within a a few thenths of a second now I ran a diagnostic and did come up with a era but I mist some of it and when I tried to run it again it came up as 12 a pass should I f
disconnect the battery for a few mins and try again will this reset every thing so I can run it again

Yes - disconnect the battery for 30 seconds, reconnect, then drive the car and do the code check again.
