Hey guys,
Couldnt find a thread involving this so posting one to ask.
I tried changing the Auto shifter bulb in my VS Calais the other day.
I found that the bulb is not a T5. (I was told that's what it was supposed to be)
I think it could be a T3, however it is very small.
It sort of looks like this: Bulbrite 7 Watt - Wedge Base - 24 Volt - Xenon Light Bulb - Bulbrite 715517: Details & Specs at NexTag
This pic doesnt show its size, but my bulb is roughly 8-10mm in length and 3-4mm wide across the base.
If anyone knows what kind of bulb it is, would be much appreciated as I can then replace it.
Thanks
I'm almost certain a t5 will fit
I have a bunch of T5 LEDs here, but their bases are way to big.
Here's a picture of the bulb:
Granted, I've no experience with interior illumination besides the cluster and trip computer bulbs, so if I'm mistaken, let me know.

ha, my vs doesn't have a bulb, and oddly enough when I pulled the console and everything else out, no wiring for one either.
lol that's very strange man
Pretty sure when I had to change mine i pinched a globe from an old cluster I had laying around. Just pulled the globe from out from the plastic base and it went straight in
Just grab the blown bulb, head to orgy barn, ask them for a new bulb and hand the old one over.
Oh and yes the missing wiring is odd, maybe I have a cross between a column shift and a regular loom.
Lol, yeah I've got it figured out.
I was mistaken with my bulb types, thanks for the help guys
