hey guys,
i have a 1991 rodeo with vs running gear in it.
recently the fuel pump (which is rodeo) decided it had had enough so i replaced it and was all good for several weeks.
the other day whilst driving at about 60k's the car stoped running, after trying to re-start it i let it sit for 5 mins and it fired up again and no problems.
then yesterday, got home from work, parked it in the driveway, car sat for no longer than a hour, went to start it and nothing. it turns over but nothing. it did splurt and spplatter and carry on but nothing.
since i replaced the pump my next thing to look at will probably be the relay?
car has well over half a tank aswell.
what else should i be looking for? and the relay will click when the ignition is on and pump kicks in then out, correct?
crank angle sensor. i dont have a clue about them but yeah ive been told it will give the same effcts as a dodgy fuel pump.
Sounds like the pump is working. Have you got the diagnostic plug still set up to check fault codes.
Probably CAS, though whenever I say that it turns out to be something else when it's other peoples cars for some reason.
CAS or DFI and Coil Packs. Sounds like there is no spark.
If it's not a Symptom its not relevant, and if its not relevant I don't care!
crank angle sensor for sure
check your error codes, it should be throwing a code 47 i think
