Finally I got my front suspension back on... I have 19" SSV wheels on my VS the tyres are 245/40R19 and the only way I can get space between the strut and tyre is to place some spacers on the wheel nuts as the tyre is hard up against the strut and is not turning freely, which I know is illigal and it does not seem safe...
Not sure what diameter of tyre i need?? Anyone had this similar situation?? or can give some advice??
Thanks
Daz

Hey mate, I had the same wheels with 245x45x19" on my VS STATESMAN front end and i had no problem mate..get a wheel alignement and pop that camber out u must be running to much negative if u can't fit 40% of 245mm in there (dont know figure not working out). Or... Use a 245x35x19 or 235x35x19 tyre if u want a simple fix...but new tyres arent cheap id just align it + that means ur gonna chew the inside edge of the tyres out 1) from rubbing on the strut coz its too negative 2) from getting to much inside tyre riding on the road and not an even amount of wear...pop the front out at least -0.30'
Thanks, I need new front tyre anyhow as they are already smooth on the inside... Hope thats correct just a wheel alignment...
Thanks for your help...
