Vs gearbox problems

Hi all,
I recently purchased a vs commo, there is something wrong with the gearbox but I can't figure out what, I've checked the error codes and it gave me a 12. Everytime I select either drive or reverse, my car drops it's revs heaps and stalls. If anybody knows how to fix this please let me know. Thanks.

I would definately like to know the answer to OP's problem,mine also feels like it wants to stall when its in reverse or drive.

Mine only trys to die when it does. But i also have other issues, keen to know what the fix of this is aswell as it could one of the many problems causing the major problem. But i guess the common things to check are: Sparks, leads, coils, DFI, intake, fuel sytem.

Clean your throttle body and the Idle Speed Control (or Idle Air Control)...there is a how-to on this.

How do I check dfi and what does it do? Also the coils? All the plugs are sparking grouse so it can't be the coils. Right? Fuel system has been checked over and the fuel pump an filter have been changed. Intake hasn't been chekcked
Yet but I'll pull it apart when I do the throttle body.
