Changing the dash lights

Ok so here's what's happened.

I own a HSV VR berlina. And wanted to change the dash lights to pink cos Im a chick and all . Lol

Well apparently ur supposed to remove the green film?

My question is , green film off which part?

pretty much all the lights in the dash and in the switches are just plain globes ( sort of a yellow color), the film your talking about is on the back of the speedo, temp, fuel and tacho face it's what gives the light it's green color so in order to turn it pink you have to remove it, or for an easier option you could look on eBay there's a guy that does custom dash facias and he can make the numbers and words come up any color you want for something like $100

So you buy the dash cluster then whack it in with whatever colour globes is that about right?

Hey you have a couple of options for dash replacements on ebay, this one is the one i prefer.

the green film can not be taken off trust me i've tried n it doesnt work so well, you'll have to buy a whole new custom dash, there is another guy on ebay which can do a very detailed custom job for about 100 bucks.

as for the globes there is a few on ebay, get the ones which have a bit more of a spread, from memory they have 6 leds per globe.

The second one that dmo89 is talking about is the one you want. I'm not sure how to post links from my phone but a quick search should find it and if you get the replacement dials you can keep the stock globes
