Default VT VS VY V6 into VS

As the title suggest i want to know if an Ecotec out of a later model car will drop in with little or no modifications. The reason i ask is that my engine is on the way out and i have been able to source an engine from a VX with very similar Kms to mine.

    Thanks

Yep you will need to drill/tap the intake manifold for your dash temp sender, and use VS exhaust manifolds. Actually it might be easier swapping the whole intake manifold for your VS one, as it will already have dash temp sender and none of the EGR stuff the later ecotec's have. You also need to swap passenger side engine mount bracket so you can retain the VS aircon compressor. I think thats about it.
