Welcome
Should do a search as its been covered a few times recently. In my opinion you're better off swapping for a complete L67 and getting you manual flywheel mirror balanced to the L67 auto flexplate (they run a different balance factor). Far easier than sourcing all the parts required individually and probably a similar price all up. As you're obviously aware, the L67 runs lower compression than the ecotec, 8.5:1 as compared to 9.8:1 so yes with a top swap you'd need to run thicker MLS headgaskets to reduce the compression or only ever run low/standard boost if you left it at 9.8:1. L67 rods are also heavier construction than the ecotec and a bigger dia gudgeon. L67 pistons are also friction coated on the skirt.
Also check out L67torque.com plenty of L67 specific knowledge there
