Hey guys i just baught a vr exec for 1000 buks with a lil rego on it just wondering how much a manual conversion would cost at a trans workshop and how long would it take thanks for all info in advabced also any recommended places im in sydney west ( st marys)

Probably better and cheaper just to sell your current car and buy a manual car.

I baught a vn calais and i cbf fixing the problem coz its mind boggled me ive got a thread on here about it already ( vn calais junkbucket) i baught this with money i could barely scrape up and i just want a price for the conversion if i give them my current gear box and maybe get rid of the calais for cheap just to get more money up for it i like my current vr its mechanically sound and the colour i love and also 180xxx ks so im happy with it dont want to sell would just like a price on conversions and or if there easy enough to do so my self

this is a complete guess but i would say around 1500 depending on where u get it done, the correct spelling is 'bought' btw

You cant ask half a question and expect a full answer. Do you have the parts/donor car already? Will you be sourcing parts yourself? Second hand or new parts? What Manual gearbox are you using? etc. etc It could cost $500-$5000 depending on so many variables

Hey thanks for the replys and estimates on prices i didnt know spelling every word corecctly was essential , im not being a smart arse but i was never rude so i dont see why i should cop a hackin for a simple mistake thanks to those who werent so ignorant

we did a conversion on a mates VR V8. The donor car was a VN and we were quoted $1500 labour if we were to send it int a shop.
