Fuel Gauge

Anyway of making the fuel gauge 'pop' up when you turn the key? I've had 2 commodore now and they take ages to show accurate level.. Unlike my older falcon.. that fuel gauge shows as soon I turn the key..

when u get in the car... turn ur keep on and swiftly in 1 move clentch ur fist and smack the top of ur dash... BAM and it should pop up hahahahahaha.... works on mine but mine gets stuck thats why

Yeah mine pops up like that... but I dont like hitting the dash all the time :P prefer a perm. fix :\
