hey guys i just put a vp toyota lexen motor in my vr statesman an i put the states man wiring lume on and used the same computer yet it didnt spark or nothing no power at all so i swopped the lumes and computer and theres a few loose wires such as transmission exhaust sensor and yet it still wont spark i even changed the coil pack i dont no wat to do now can any one help please would mean alot
Is the crank angle sensor plugged in? Or is the one on that engine faulty? Basically the looms should not be to different, I would try there first or even pull out the flash fault codes that could give you a hint in the right direction
ye bro thats plugged in they arent faulty im pretty sure cause every thing was fine till i done a bottom end bearing and ceased it and i even heard the new motor runnin so i dunno aye beats me every thing is plugged in been ova it like 3 times aye
As noddy said are there any fault codes after turning it over?
na theres not aye jst tested it no injector pulse or spark
you will need to use the statesman loom and computer...also when you put the vp motor in, did you put the timing cover off the vr motor on? if not, that mite be your problem, as vr engines have a cam angle sensor on the front of the timing cover and a magnetic pick up on the cam gear... i only say this, is because i have had the same problem before..
